En este disco Zappa y Jean-Luc Ponty alcanzan un nuevo nivel, Zappa se reafirma como compositor y Ponty como interprete, ambos del Jazz-rock. tres de las seis piezas de este disco ya habían sido grabadas por las Madres de la invención (King Kong; en el disco Uncle Meat; The Idiot Bastard Son, en el disco We're Only in it For the Money; y America Drinks en el disco Absolutely Free), las otras más tarde serán grabadas por Zappa, exepto el tema compuesto por Ponty, en la cual Zappa participa tocando la guitarra. El tema Twenty Small Cigars saldría ese mismo año en el album Chunga's Revenge grabado por Frank Zappa. Es un disco interesante y ampliamente recomendable.
